What motivates you to be your best? A simple question, yet difficult to answer, in my opinion.

I feel very lucky to be able to stay home and take care of my children. I love being a stay at home mom, but I will be honest and say that I do find it difficult to stay motivated at times. Between the feedings, nap schedules, laundry, activities, clean up, lack of “me time” and sleep deprivation, staying motivated to eat healthy and workout can sometimes seem like an impossible task!

I loved my career as a Fitness Trainer and Nutritionist. My clients motivated me so much! Seeing them lose weight, gain strength, find a balance, reduce stress and anxiety, increase self esteem and confidence and overall, just feel happier and healthier, motivated me more than I can express!

Becoming a new Mother has not only challenged my ability to stay motivated but also has changed my source of motivation. No matter what side of the bed I wake up on, I get up and do my best to give it my all for my girls. I’m not going to lie, the first few months I was just trying to keep my head above water! Now that we are well into a routine, these little gals couldn’t bring me more happiness. Seeing how active, happy and healthy my girls are motivates me to continue giving them my all.

I have always been motivated to exercise and eat healthy. But to be honest, a large part of my motivation for working out came from a place of vanity. Becoming a new Mother has changed my motivation for working out. My definition and pupose for exercising has changed from vanity to becoming the healthiest person that I can be so that I can be the best Mother and role model for my girls. I love my new source of motivation. Thank you Sophie & Liv…

This Monday, I want you to define what motivates you to be your healthiest, best you!
